A shitstorm is coming.

These two shows for the upcoming fall season are sure enough to cause shit flinging in the western fandom. First one is called “Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne—” ( You’re My Brother, But That Doesn’t Matter as Long as we Have Love!) or Oniai for short. The other is Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (the Pet Girl of Sakurasou). The first one looks ok if nothing special, but the other looks like it could be fun. Anyway I’ll watch both plus some other shows coming next season to see how they turn out.

I know one thing is sure, the stupid comments from the western fandom have already provides as much lulz as they do headaches just from reading them.

You just had to go and ruin it, J.C. Staff!

Milkly Holmes, being one of the most ridiculous screwball anime comedies in recent years with it’s tongue planted firmly in its cheek has now become the the very thing the show has been trying to parody. Mind you I’ll still watch this, but the fun of them having no powers will be lost here.

Joshiraku: Sleeper show of the season.

I’m liking this new show from J.C. Staff (surprisingly). It’s like the parts of LuCky Star where the characters just talk random things, going on tangents. The manga’s from the same person that did Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei. The jokes are quite Japan focused so regular anime fans won’t really enjoy this (that”s mean you western fanbase).

A wolf in a tsundere’s clothing.

My review for Okami-san and her Seven Companions is up! See what I have to say about this average J.C. Staff anime.

Another good one to pick up from Sentai Filmworks.

Hatsukoi (First Love) Limited was an enjoyable fanservice show from 2009 from J.C. Staff (gasp, I know). If you like light romantic comedy anime that doesn’t get too serious then try this one out. It even had one character voiced by Aki Toyosaki that REALLY liked her brother. 😉

Still waiting for Kanamemo to be licensed though.

But anyway, check out the nice OP it had.
